I first ran across this verse when my wife, Kris and I were doing the "Crown Ministries" bible study. This study, which I will talk about more later is a study of the biblical principles given in the bible around our finances. The whole idea of this passage was a huge "A-HA" for me and how releasing this was also. To finally understand (that doesn't mean that I will live by it all of the time but I'm working on that aspect)that I am not in control, nor and the responsible for whether or not I am successful. whether or not I am powerful or for that matter, whether or not I am blessed. It is ALL up to God. Look at the words I underlined in the verse ... none of them are I, my, me or my. God decides who is going to be blessed or successful or powerful. The fact that "everything" in the heavens and earth is His means that EVERYTHING is his and in His control!

This brings a lot of issues to the forefront. First; if god is in control of everything, why don't I just hang out at the beach or in front the TV and wait for him to exercise His control and bless me or not bless me as He sees fit? Should I be trying to exert any control or do anything about my circumstances? One thingthat this passage does not Mention that is in the bible in a lot of other places is that God want us to be in relationship with Him and that means to be serving Him. God created us to love Him and to Love others as ourselves. Those are the two greatest commandMents of God. So if we are doing that .... even in the smallest way, then I believe that God reveals to us what the next steps are that He has for us. And the more that we are connected to Him and listening to his "still small voice" the more direction we will hear. My experience has been that when I am hearing Him and being obedient to Him, then my life seems to go much smoother. I think it is that only God knows the right path for us to follow and when we decide that we are in control, then it is easy for us to get off of those pathsand get into the briars where I don't believe He intended for us to go in the first place.

The other thing is our definition of success and worldly power versus God's definition of those things. Is success just going after a nice bank account, more stuff and prestige? If so, then this pursuit will take us off into the briars again and we may achieve them, but we will not have a fulfilled life; a life of significance and meaning.

It could be that they would never have started dating if they met a week prior or a month later. Sure, they are attracted to each other and compatible in many ways, but the timing HAD to be right for them to be together, no matter how many other things they had in common.  It could've been that if they met at the wrong time, oneor both of the partners could have been in a relationship or just getting out of one and not ready to date yet.

So what's the moral of this story? The moral is that since timing is so crucial, you have to make yourself available in order to find the right person. You have to go out and be social and pro-actively put yourself out there in front of people. You never know who is or isn't available, but if you put yourself out there, you are greatly increasing the chances that you will find the right person-the person who is most compatible with you and is also completely available.  Get out there and make the principle of timing work for you.

* You've worked hard and are gearing up to
launch a new product when a vendor calls and
says that he can't get the new website up on
deadline which is "okay" because the graphic
artist's Computer crashed and your product
picture isn't ready anyway. They'll get back to
you.

* Taxes are two for those who got extensions
and, in some previous insanity, you agreed to do
them for friends and family. But you still need
information and the tax deadline looms.

* Your hubby needs reading classes but you
can't find the credit card which will give you the
big discount. It's gotta be around
somewhere.

* Your sister wants to borrow your AAA card-en
must be with the missingcredit card.

* Your business phone line stops working and
the telephone company insists the problem is in
the home and they can't get to you for a
week.

* It hasn't rained for weeks and yet the dog is
covered in mud and lying on the couch.

* Your largest client calls on a Friday afternoon
and requests the impossible. This was preceded
by your smallest client calling and demanding
that you drop everything as her every need is
* urgent *.

* The bathroom toilet stops working and then
starts leaking and your plumber is on
vacation.

What do you do when it all goes wrong?

1. Laugh.

Laugh hard and laugh often. Laugh like there's
no tomorrow-given the above, there may not
be.

Seriously though ... laughter will put you in a
much better frame of mind to deal with life's
interruptions without losing your sanity.

2. Breathe.

If laughter isn't possible, and sometimes it just
isn't, then focus on your breathing. ANDAs on
and out, in and out as deeply as possible until
your pulse racing stops or you let go of the
throat that somehow found its way into your
grasp.

3. Regroup.

When the walls are caving in around you, take
five minutes and figure out what you can do to
keep at least one thing moving forward.

Follow-up on the email that may land you a new
client. Submit your article to the various article
submission sites. Pay a couple of bills. Do one
thing, anything so that you can cross something
off your * list *. It's probably best if this
something doesn't involve interaction with
others!

4. Give thanks.

"What? Give thanks? Are you insane? "

I can hear the grumbling from here. Do it
anyway! Grab a piece of paper and make a list
of everything that you are thankful for-chances
are, you have it better than millions of
others.

Here's a quick list of things that I know I'm
grateful for: my health, family and friends, my
pets, my business and my clients, sunrises "and
sunsets, flowers, chocolate ice cream, the sound
of the ocean and a crisp New England fall
day.

5. Get out.

Get out of the house and out of theoffice.
Whether you choose to go for a walk, have lunch
with friends, go window shopping (leave credit
cards at home) or browse the shelves at your
local library, get out and enjoy yourself for a
bits. You'll return in a much refreshed frame of
mind and ready to tackle whatever life throws
your way.

Let's be real. Sometimes problems are just
problems and not "opportunities". Sometimes
lemons make bad lemonade. And not all clouds
have a silver lining. When everything goes
wrong, try one (or all) of the above techniques,
accept it and move on knowing that things
will get better!

The whole realm of NPI is confusing and since it just came into effect May 23, 2007, we are just beginning to see the challenges. We are all learning together about how the change will affect our offices.

We are still getting calls from and obtaining NPI numbers for providers who have not gotten one yet. We are also answering many questions on our "Ask the Biller" page on NPI # s. What is a NPI #?

Since May 23, 2007 any provider of medical services is required to obtain a National Provider Identification number. They are free and fAirly easy to obtain.

There is still some confusion over whether certain providers need to have an NPI. If you contact the NPI enumerator they can't even tell you.

The easiest way to get a NPI number is to hire us to get it for you for. Michele has obtained so many now she can get through the website application in four minutes while you are on the phone with her. The assigned number has been coming back to us the same day in many cases. Youcan call Michele for help at 1-800-490-4299.

The NPI # itself is free. You can fill out an application yourself at their website. It takes about 15-20 minutes for a first time user. You can also download a paper application to send by mail. You can get to the NPI website by going to the NPI # page on our website and scroll to the bottom.

Your office will require both an individual NPI # for the doctor and a group NPI # for the office if you bill under a separate tax id number.

On the new CMS 1500 form the NPI goes in box 24J, 32nd & 33rd.

So far thethe biggest problem we have seen arise was when we sent our first batch of electronic claims to the clearing house with the newly entered NPI # s. Some of the insurance carriers receiving the claims were not yet ready for the change to the NPI # s (they were granted the extra year to comply) and not yet ready to accept the NPI # s. All their claims were kicked out of the system and had to be printed to paper.

Timing is Everything

Timing is everything is a common belief and is a major aspect of the Law of Attraction and Abundance. You might experience impatience or frustration because your projects are not moving as quickly as you would like, or you might believe your self-worth depends on your achieveMents. Or you might seek validation from others, especially if you do not have a strong belief in yourself and your abilities.

A good way to ease your belief that your self-worth depends on your achieveMents is to go inward and focus on building confidence. If you work on developing a strong belief in yourself and an attitude of patience and optimism, you will be able to let go of feeling anxious.

Believing in your abilities and keeping a patient mind-set allows the universe to bring the map to success in exactly the right way and at exactly the right time.
